The project
An Architect approach us regarding a site that had outline planning permission (granted on appeal) for a detached dwelling with layout and siting approved. The landowner wanted to achieve planning permission for a larger dwelling and therefore full planning permission was required.
We worked with the Architect and the LPA to achieve a recommendation for approval. The application went to Committee due to the level of local objection and following refusal by the Council’s Planning Committee we were instructed to lodge an appeal. The Inspector fully supported the appeal granting planning permission a dwelling larger than that originally consented on previously developed land outside the settlement boundary. The dwelling is now built and ready to be occupied
