Listed building & heritage input

Timely delegated decision

The project

We were instructed by local property company to provide planning and heritage services to extend and adapt a Grade II listed Gothic manor house in the Cotswolds for a family relocating from London.

Working with a co-ordinated team including a trusted heritage specialist, ecologist and local architects, we advised the client and prepared the planning and listed building consent applications to renovate the house into a beautiful family home, with an extended kitchen and adapted internal layout suited to modern living.

Our role involved liaison between professionals and planning and conservation officers at the Council to ensure agreement of the proposals, together with achieving a timely decision.

We obtained planning and listed building consent, and the client is delighted that their dream home will now become a reality.
