The project
An Architect we regularly work with approached us to explore the feasibility of partly bringing a historic kitchen garden within a Grade II registered park and garden back into use. We co-ordinated a project team including the Architect, Heritage Consultant, Highway Consultant, Landscape Architect and Ecologist to produce a scheme for the reconfiguration and extension of a disused cottage and the replacement of a former piggery building with 2 holiday lets.
We engaged with Officers at Wiltshire Council through the pre-application process, and worked with the consultant team to deliver a scheme that responded to the pre-application advice provided, and that was fully supported by Officers and approved under delegated powers.
