In accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), planning applications must describe the ‘significance’ of any heritage assets likely to be affected by a proposal.
We can review the ‘significance’ of the heritage asset likely to be affected by your proposal and prepare a Heritage Statement to accompany your Planning or Listed Building consent application.
During the design phase, we will work with your Architect to preserve or enhance the heritage assets significance.
If a heritage asset is especially sensitive, or your proposal is inherently sensitive, it may be necessary to engage a specialist heritage consultant. We work with a variety of heritage consultants whom we can engage on your behalf.
