If your planning application has been refused, we can maximise the chances of your appeal being successful.

If you are bringing your project to us for the first time, we will review the refused application and the reasons for refusal and give you clear and honest advice as to whether the reason(s) for refusal can be overcome by resubmitting the application. We can then prepare a revised planning application on your behalf.

In cases where an application has been refused on subjective grounds that cannot be overcome by re-submitting, we can fully manage the preparation and submission of an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate (a central government-appointed body which determines all planning appeals in England).

A forensic review of the reasons for the refusal and the Officers’ report is conducted so that we can prepare a robust Appeal Statement that fully evaluates your development proposal and how it complies with national and local policies.

If a planning application has been refused on technical grounds, we can engage specialist consultants to address and resolve reasons for refusal. We will also seek to agree additional information with the Local Planning Authority before the appeal is assessed by a Planning Inspector in order to reduce the number of reasons for refusal.

We have experience handling appeals at all levels, including written representations, Hearings, and giving evidence at Public Inquiries.
